I’d love to suggest adding Capybaras to Minecraft as a passive mob! Capybaras are loved worldwide for their gentle, chill nature and their unique habit of coexisting peacefully with almost every other animal.
Where they would spawn: Swamps, Mangrove Swamps, Riverbanks, and Savannas.
Behavior & Mechanics: Friend of All Mobs: Other small passive mobs (like chickens, frogs, or rabbits) could occasionally sit on a capybara's back.
Water & Hot Spring Enthusiasts: They love swimming and resting in shallow water or near campfire-heated blocks.
Breeding & Taming: Could be bred using apples, melons, or sugar cane, floating alongside players like aquatic companions.
Adding capybaras would make Minecraft’s aquatic and swamp biomes feel warmer, livelier, and even more charming!
My son would be thrilled if his favourite animal is added, as will I!
