I’d like to suggest a few optimization features that could make Minecraft: Bedrock Edition smoother, especially on low-end and mid-range devices.
Entity Culling: Add an optional setting that stops rendering blocks and entities that are completely hidden from view, which could improve FPS.
No Particles: Add an option to disable heavy particle effects that may affect performance.
No Weather: Add a setting to hide rain, snow, and other weather effects for players who need extra performance.
Faster Loading: Optimize loading when entering worlds, Realms, servers, and multiplayer sessions to make joining faster and smoother.
Memory Optimization: Improve memory usage and fix possible memory leaks that can cause stuttering, crashes, or increasing RAM usage during longer play sessions.
Customizable FPS Counter: Add a built-in FPS counter with options for its position, size, and visibility.
It would also be helpful if Minecraft could politely recommend these settings when a device appears to have limited hardware:
“Your device may benefit from enabling performance settings such as Entity Culling, No Particles, and No Weather. Would you like to enable them?”
These options should remain completely optional. Some ideas may not be practical or possible, and that’s okay. I simply hope more built-in performance options can be considered for Bedrock Edition.
Thank you, Minecraft team, for listening to community feedback and continuing to improve the game!
