Minecraft should allow players to share a World with selected friends so those friends can continue playing even when the original World Owner is offline.
How it could work:
The Owner shares the World with selected friends.
Authorized friends can enter and play even when the Owner is offline.
Building, mining, farming, exploration and other progress automatically saves and syncs.
When the Owner returns, they can see the changes made by their friends.
The Owner can give permissions such as Play Only or Build & Edit.
The World should have automatic cloud backups.
The Owner can remove a player's access at any time.
A World Activity Log could show important changes and which player made them.
The main idea is that the World should belong to the group of authorized players, not only the person who created it.
This would make long-term Survival and Creative Worlds much better because friends would not have to wait for the Owner to come online.
Please consider adding this feature in a future Minecraft update.
