minecraft PC is too expensive and the download process is confusing

i think minecraft for pc is a little too expensive, especially for younger players. i also found the  download and installation process confusing because there are several different options it would be really helpful if there were a simple step by step tutorial explaining how to download and install minecraft java edition

    also i know the download process may seem simple to experienced pc users but i am a new pc user and i found it confusing i am not saying the launcher is bad i just think a simple step by step guide could make it easier for new players
