Minecraft legacy version preservation

Hello mojang , i was just looking at minecraft in my ps3 and i thought about how it would look it you could sell it to a small retro studio that could upgrade it and keep it online, it would be so sick , honestly , the tutorial map alone is so beautiful, the gameplay is so nostalgic and everything in it is perfect , so , please , make minecraft legacy edition an open project any good studio can join and tons of people would love it.
