In the latest prevew/snapshot they removed desert wells, so I say we bring them back, but this time they are a marker for a new cave type that only spawns in the dessert, the Sandy Caves, a cave type with mostly sand, stone and ores also spawn, but there are arcyology, and small pools of water like in a lush cave.
