Issue:
In the Dappled Forest biome, Sugar Cane takes on a murky, brown look when it is usually green. Nature blocks like grass do this as well but Sugar Cane is supposed to be green. There are red, orange & yellow colored Sugar Cane in real life but the brown looks out of place. The item texture is of course green and on the block texture, the leaves are a weird tint of yellowy brown which clashes with the stalk color. It makes it look like an red tint applied to a green texture which doesn't look great

Suggested Solution:
a) Tweak the Sugar Cane's Color only for the Dappled Forest -- Make it a red / orange color in the biome, keeping it the same in other biomes.
b) Tweak the Sugar Cane's Color for all Biomes -- Make all Sugar Cane have the same color regardless of biome, scrapping the colormap feature.
c) Tweak the Sugar Cane's Texture to better convert to each Color Map -- Change the greyscale color to not have it look as obtuse with extreme color changes (like the Dappled Forest's nature color)
A is best for a visual sense as it would look the best being tweaked without automatical change but more effort and doesn't change future biome colors.
B is a best all round change as it is easiest but removes that sense of change & exploration throughout the biomes and may look out of place.
C is would make it more automatic and less work but may still look wrong in places.
