Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for macOS and Linux

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is playable on almost every platform. But why not on macOS and Linux? Currently, macOS and Linux support only Java Edition. I think it would be great if Bedrock Edition is playable on macOS and Linux because that more people will be able to play Bedrock Edition and it will also expand the crossplay capability of this edition of the game. People who don't have Windows but have macOS or Linux will also be able to play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. It would be great to have this idea implemented soon.
