Bringing Pirates into Minecraft

Pirates being added into Minecraft would add more life to the oceans and fit into Minecraft's law quite nicely. The pirates would match the pillagers who roam the land, only they would patrol the sea. The pirates would make sailing more interesting and quite valuable. Players would be able to loot ships and pirate bases which would be littered around the map. Choreographer villagers could sell maps for pirate bases much like woodland manshions. The pirates would have different genders and different jobs. Much like the land equivalent; vindicators, pillagers, evokers, etc. Different clothes would mark these jobs and would drop different loot such as hooks and eye patches. Their chest loot could include water based potions, tridents, ocean based booty, and more. Much like real life pirates, they would have pet cats and parrots. Pirates would attack near water villages and may even be able to patrol inland rivers. With the new 1.18 generation, they would certaintly be able to do so. Adding pirates would make the ruined shiprecks make a lot more sense.
