Hello Minecraft Team,
Currently, the "Export World" (.mcworld) feature exists in the Windows version of Minecraft Bedrock, but it is missing on Android.
I understand that Android's Scoped Storage restricts access to Android/data, but there are clean and standard solutions for this without needing broad device permissions:
The game can export the .mcworld file directly to the public Downloads or Documents directory (Android/media/com.mojang.minecraftpe or standard SAF/Scoped Storage allowed paths).
Other Minecraft Bedrock-based applications on the Google Play Store successfully implement a simple world export feature to the Downloads folder without policy issues.
Adding an "Export World" button to the world settings on Android would make backing up worlds and sharing them with friends much easier for mobile players. Please consider adding this function to Android in a future update!
Thank you!
