Redstone is a unique feature in Minecraft; it raises the intellectual ceiling of the game as a sandbox. This gameplay heavily relies on the vanilla game mechanics. I understand that in order to make the game more intuitive, the developers attempted to fix many long-standing rules in multiple updates throughout 2026, especially in the Bedrock edition. However, these fixes are not friendly to Redstone players who are familiar with every rule in the vanilla game, as they reduce the space for innovation in Redstone machines. This group of players is extremely dedicated and active; they don't just aim to complete the game but often spend years focusing on developing their own worlds. In fact, most Minecraft players stop playing the original game after finishing it and never engage with Redstone or discover these niche features. Some features have no impact on regular gameplay, and most people won't even play vanilla Minecraft. The majority of players who consistently stick to vanilla and follow updates from the developers use Redstone. Why doesn’t Minecraft try to retain some of these interesting features in updates to encourage more Redstone creativity, especially in the Bedrock edition? I think it would be better, like naming translations, to let the community vote on which features to keep or remove. I understand that some buggy features can complicate updates to higher versions, but I just hope to preserve some interesting stuff for those who need it. Thanks.
