The Warden should be harder and smarter because players have found ways to cheese it, such as hiding behind blocks, using ranged attacks, or distracting it with Iron Golems. This can make one of Minecraft's most dangerous mobs feel like a joke. Instead of only increasing its health, I think its AI should improve so it can counter these strategies.
My ideas:
• Increase health to around 650 HP and make it slightly faster.
• Add an area Darkness ability and short-range Blindness.
• Allow it to heal under certain conditions.
• Make it immune to negative potion effects.
• Improve its resistance to ranged attacks and Iron Golem strategies.
• Make it better at dealing with players hiding in safe positions.
It should still have counterplay and shouldn't be impossible to defeat. The goal is to make fighting it require strategy instead of exploiting its AI.
I also suggest a passive Warden ally called Scuba. Scuba wouldn't attack players. It would detect noisy actions within about 5 blocks and make a sound that can alert nearby sculk sensors and contribute to Warden spawning.
Wool could counter Scuba by blocking its sound. Scuba could also potentially be picked up in a bucket and placed inside a wool-lined area.
This would make the Deep Dark more focused on stealth, sound, and survival while making the Warden feel genuinely dangerous again.
