The old console editions of Minecraft should be bundled alongside the current Minecraft (Minecraft Bedrock), or maybe added as free additional extra content.
Many digital game store proudly display Minecraft DLC for old legacy editions of Minecraft, such as Mash-up packs, skin packs, and texture packs, the problem with that is that, if you buy any of that DLC, you won’t be able to use them on Minecraft Bedrock because it’s necessary to transfer them from those old Minecraft editions. This is very inconvenient for many consumers, I mean, if you see “Minecraft DLC” on a digital store then you’d assume that you’d be able to use it in the game titled “Minecraft”. There’s even a DLC skin pack for the Legacy Edition that uses the 2021 Minecraft logo, which is even more misleading. That almost seems like fake advertising. I, myself, bought it and I had to get that sorted out with the Minecraft support team; they helped a lot which I really appreciate, but that whole issue wouldn’t even have occurred if those Minecraft versions were included alongside the modern Minecraft.
Without the old console versions, buying DLC from the stores of any console, essentially gives you a digital paperweight, which is why I suggest including those versions of the game alongside the current Minecraft
