Archaeology is the least utilized concept in the game, as it is limited to only a few structures.
(In the real world, any place can be explored and offer a chance to obtain antiques.)
My idea is to add this concept to the game world.
which would be presented as suspicious clusters, random clusters of suspicious blocks scattered around the world.
(In the world, it would be marked with infertile soil on top, and upon digging, there would be a random amount of suspicious gravel to brush through.)
(On beaches, they would be signaled by a small amount of suspicious sand on top, and it could be dug up to uncover a random quantity.)
(In rivers, suspicious gravel on top could be found, which could be dug up to uncover a random amount of gravel for brushing. )
The blocks quantity would always be random, and that would make the paintbrush a truly worthwhile tool to take on adventures around the world.
It would also add a new dynamic to archaeology in the game.
However, the drops from the structures would always be a little better.
