Many people have faced the issue of having one world that you love and don't want to get rid of, but don't have enough storage to continue playing on. A simple fix for this could be a world editing tool for pre existing worlds that the operator of said world could use, a tool that is simple and easy to learn, where old chunks can be deleted, and refreshed, to cut down the world size and manage storage easier. A problem that may be brought up is that items that are supposed to be limited, such as the ender dragon egg could be duplicated and made multiple of, but at the end of the day, Minecraft is a sandbox game, and doing this will only effect your game experience and no one else's and there are already plenty of methods to duplicating blocks in the game. Could this cause terrain changes and inconsistencies? Probably, yes. But it would be a feature to use at your own risk.
