I suggest adding an official way to transfer an existing Minecraft license from one Microsoft account to another.
I understand that licenses are currently tied to the Microsoft account that purchased the game, and that this helps prevent abuse. However, there are legitimate situations where a player may want to move their license to another account.
For example, someone might have an old Microsoft account that they no longer want to use, an account affected by family settings, or simply want to use a different Microsoft account while keeping a game they already purchased.
The transfer could require ownership verification and have restrictions to prevent abuse. For example:
• The license could only be transferred once every few months.
• The owner would have to verify the original account.
• The license could only belong to one Microsoft account at a time.
• Transfers could be recorded to prevent repeated transfers or abuse.
This would allow legitimate players to keep games they already purchased while still protecting Minecraft licenses from being transferred freely between people.
I think this would make account management much more convenient for players.
