A controversial request, chest mimics ruin base storage and break builder trust. The Bursa (named after ancient Roman leather pouches) solves this by adapting an unassuming inventory item into an ambush threat instead.
What is it?
- An ambush entity disguised as a Bundle item that leaps onto, blinds, and suffocates nearby players
What does it introduce?
- Introduces cosmetic vanity items "Trinkets" and the "Ancient Key”
- Introduces harmful attachment, a new combat behavior similar to parrots
How does it look?
- A direct entity adaptation of the inert Bundle item, rendered as a 3D object resting on the ground to blend in seamlessly as discarded loot
Where does it spawn?
- Rests naturally in abandoned villages, campsites, and forsaken structures
How does it behave?
- Remains completely static until a player enters proximity. It then awakens, attaches to the player's head, and inflicts the Blindness debuff
- The player must look directly upwards and left-click rapidly to tear the Bursa off and destroy it
- Suffocates the player if not removed quickly. Upon killing its target, it drops back to the ground and resumes its static state
What does it drop?
- Currency and gems (Emeralds, Gold, and Diamonds)
- Trinkets, small vanity accessories (such as rings and necklaces)
- Ancient Key, a rare item used to convert any chest variant into a "Locked" chest. Functioning like a Lodestone and Compass, each Ancient Key pairs exclusively with its specific corresponding chest
