Add Tameable Meerkats to Minecraft! 🦦 I would love to see meerkats added to Minecraft. They are my favorite animals, and I think they could be both cute and useful without being overpowered. 🦦 Meerkat behavior Meerkats could live in small groups and make burrows. They could stand on their hind legs to look around for danger. They could eat insects and spiders. They could breed using spider eyes, since meerkats eat insects and other small animals. Wild meerkats would normally be peaceful. ❤️ Taming Meerkats could be tamed by the player. A tamed meerkat would follow its owner and could be given different jobs. 🎮 Meerkat GUI If the player right-clicks a tamed meerkat with an empty hand, a special GUI could open. The player could choose different jobs: ⚔️ Fight → Give it a sword ⛏️ Mine ores → Give it a pickaxe 🪓 Chop wood → Give it an axe 🌾 Farm → Give it a hoe 🛡️ Protect me → Defend its owner 📦 Collect items → Pick up selected items 🏠 Stay here → Stay at its current location The player could also choose which ores or blocks the meerkat should mine. The tools would work normally with their enchantments. For example, an Efficiency V pickaxe would allow the meerkat to mine faster. I think meerkats would fit Minecraft really well because they would be cute, interactive, and useful while still being different from existing pets. Please add tameable meerkats to Minecraft! 🦦❤️
