KINGDOM GOLEMS
This suggestion expands my previous “Kingdoms Update: Castles and Villager Kingdoms” and “Castle Generation” proposals by focusing on the guardians of these medieval settlements.
Instead of replacing the Iron Golem, Kingdoms could introduce new Iron Golem variants with different designs, equipment and abilities depending on the biome where the kingdom generates. A snowy kingdom could have a heavily armored design resistant to cold, while a mountain kingdom could feature a sturdier guardian focused on powerful melee attacks. Coastal kingdoms could have designs suited to defending ports and walls.
These would still be Iron Golems, preserving Minecraft’s identity and familiar mechanics, but each kingdom could have its own unique protector. Some variants could specialize in physical attacks, others in defensive abilities, and rare variants could use limited special attacks without becoming overly powerful.
Their appearance could also reflect the kingdom’s architecture through different armor, symbols and decorations, making them feel like natural protectors of their communities.
The goal is not to turn Minecraft into an RPG, but to make kingdoms feel alive and defended. Exploring a castle should feel different from visiting a normal village, while the Iron Golem remains an important part of the world.
