I used to play with my friends over LAN, each on their own phone, during free periods at school, recess, etc. There was a feature where you could share your network (without an internet connection) with your friends, and they could join your world. Recently, I bought Minecraft on Android for the same purpose, and I realized that, I don’t know why, they removed that feature which, in my opinion, was one of the most underrated and unknown features in Minecraft. Actually, they modified it, and now an internet connection is definitely required. Personally, I think the feature worked really well with the game; after all, the game is called "Minecraft: Play with Friends" on Android. I suggest that when someone doesn’t have a connection, instead of showing "world offline," the game could say "LAN only available" or something like that. I don’t understand why they removed the feature, but I’d love for it to come back. I’m sure a lot of other people would like it too.
