For the longest time, the Minecraft community has been almost unanimously suggesting 2 things. An end update, and a new dimension. Yet, Minecraft, or at least the people now in charge of it, blatantly ignore those suggestions. Their reasoning for the end update is "The end is supposed to be dead", when they could very clearly add structures or resources to the end that add character and motivation to stay there for longer, especially since it's been mostly untouched for about a decade. Their reasoning for not providing a new dimension is "We don't want to alter game progression too much", when since Microsoft has taken charge, they've added Netherite, copper, spears, maces, and much more, all of which alter the games progression and balancing significantly.
I genuinely cannot understand why, especially considering the communities almost UNIFORM support for these updates, Minecraft refuses to add these things. Or any of the various less prominent, but still important things that Minecraft refuses to add. Considering the fact that Minecraft is a mutli-billion-dollar company, and that it as a pantheon of extremely skilled workers and coders, I cannot wrap my head around why the people in charge of Minecraft refuse to give the community what they unanimously want. It would bring attention, support, and money to the people in charge, and it would bring engagement and fun to the community. It is literally a win win, and there is no reason why these updates haven't been added yet.
