The building experience is a bit limited especially when it comes to carpets. Sure, you can place them on top of full blocks, but NOT on partial blocks. So, my idea is to carpet-log blocks like underneath signs, on top of stairs, under fences, under doors and trapdoors, under chests, and more. I hope is idea is considered!
