Minecraft: The Birds & Skies Update Minecraft’s skies are empty compared to its land and oceans. This update adds birds, new behaviors, and exploration features to make biomes feel more alive while keeping Minecraft’s simple style. New Mobs: Songbirds Found in forests, plains, flower forests, and birch forests. They fly between trees, sing biome songs, build nests, and eat seeds, berries, and insects. Drop feathers and eggs. Owls Found in dark, old-growth, and snowy forests. Active at night, they rest in trees during the day, hunt small creatures, and have nests with rare items. Seagulls Found on beaches and oceans. They fly over water, visit docks and villages, and pick up dropped food. Eagles Found in mountains and cliffs. They soar above peaks, build nests, and carry small items. Penguins Found in frozen oceans and snowy beaches. They slide on ice, swim quickly, live in groups, and protect their young. Features: Bird Nests Contain eggs, feathers, seeds, and decorations. Players can also craft decorative nests. Bird Guide Book A wildlife journal that records bird species, habitats, and sightings. Birdhouse A decorative block made with planks, sticks, and hay that attracts birds near bases. Advancements: “A Sky Full of Songs” - Discover all birds. “The Early Bird” - Find a nest at sunrise. “High Above the Clouds” - Spot an eagle. “Wildlife Photographer” - Complete the guide. The goal is to make Minecraft feel like a world that existed before the player arrived.
