Minecraft offers an incredible variety of building blocks, and one of its greatest strengths is the creative freedom it gives players. However, many block sets still feel incomplete because they are missing important variants such as stairs, slabs, walls, and fences, pressure plate and button. This limits the potential of certain materials, reduces consistency between block families, and makes some building palettes less practical to use.
I believe it would be a valuable improvement if Mojang gradually introduced the missing variants for existing block sets over future updates. This would greatly expand building possibilities, provide builders with more creative flexibility, and make block families feel more complete and consistent. Since these additions would build upon existing materials rather than introduce entirely new mechanics, they would enhance the building experience while preserving Minecraft's core gameplay.
Below in comment is a list of the block variants that I believe are currently missing and would be great additions to the game.
If anyone has any ideas for variations for the incomplete block sets, please replay them.
