With the current texture, a wall of all horizontal or vertical stripped poplar have a grid-like appearance that no other stripped log seems to have.
Currently, placement of darker pixels on the top and bottom of the stripped poplar log side texture gives a noticeable and seemingly unintentional creased look on all edges of the face when tiled between other stripped poplar logs of the same orientation. It is specifically caused by the combination of the second and third darkest pixels of the texture being more concentrated on the bottom of the texture, and the lightest two textures being more evenly distributed than vertically concentrated. I propose this texture is adjusted to reduce this tiling effect.
