Extinct Animals for Passive Mobs

Since Mojang is unwilling to add drops for ANY of the new passive mobs past 1.15. I have thought of a brilliant solution...

Mojang should create extinct animals in place of currently living creatures...

Example: Thylacines, Quaggas, Dodos, Carolina Parakeets and Passenger Pigeons all have been extinct for more than a century now and because of that, Minecraft can give some form of representation to the animals that are no longer with us. Minecraft could give us players (and many younger players) a change to live in a world where these fabulous creatures once roamed, to give us a chance to bring them back to life.

Dodos, Carolina Parakeets and Passenger Pigeons can drop colored feathers along with some parrot meat. Dodos should also drop their beaks, which could be used as a muzzle on wolves. (Along with this, parrots should finally become breedable!) Dodo spawns on new island biome, Carolina Parakeets spawn in jungles, passenger pigeons spawn in taigas and fly over plains biomes.

Quaggas should drop hooves and their hide should be used for a unique patterned carpet, allowing you to have MANY of cool patterns, polka dot, checkered, striped, tartan plaid, etc. They spawn in the dappled forest. (very rarely though)

Thylacines should become tamable like wolves and should be an helpful non-combative alternative to wolves, herding livestock and catching fish for you. (this would be good for auto-fishing) These guys spawn in mangrove swamps (very rarely as well)
