Villager SIting / Councils for Builds.

Introduction The cushion is one of the best additions Mojang has made to Minecraft. It allows players to sit, create decorative furniture, and even build creative displays such as LED screens. While players can already use cushions in many ways, it would be even more immersive if villagers could interact with them as well. Potential and Implementation Allowing villagers to sit on cushions would make villages and player-built towns feel much more alive, especially in single-player worlds. Builders could create council chambers, dining halls, taverns, classrooms, waiting rooms, and other populated spaces where villagers naturally sit. The feature could work similarly to villager job site blocks. When a villager detects an unoccupied cushion, it would have roughly a 30–50% chance of walking over and sitting. To prevent villagers from remaining seated indefinitely, they could stand up after 5–7 minutes and continue their normal AI routines. Conclusion This feature would expand the usefulness of cushions while making villages and custom builds feel more dynamic and believable. It would especially benefit single-player builders, whose creations can sometimes feel empty without other players. Seeing villagers naturally sit and interact with cushions would add another layer of life and immersion to Minecraft without changing its core gameplay.
