Sleep is obviously very important to Villagers because they always seek out a bed to sleep in every night, even when there are not enough beds to go around. Unfortunately most players ignore this need, feeling no empathy for these friendly but exploited creatures.
It's time for the Villagers' right to sleep to be respected by giving them the ability to bargain and (if necessary) go on strike. If players lock up their Villagers into booths as trade slaves, the Villagers should be able to rebel against their masters and refuse to offer any trades until given access to beds again.
