Copper Hoppers
I would love to see copper hoppers added to Minecraft. Since copper already has oxidation stages, they could use this mechanic in an interesting way. Fresh copper hoppers could work at their normal speed, while each oxidation stage would make them transfer items a little more slowly. Players could wax them to preserve the desired speed, just like other copper blocks.
To keep iron hoppers valuable, copper hoppers could be slightly slower overall, especially since copper is much more common and would make them cheaper to craft. This would create an interesting progression without replacing the existing hopper.
It would also be great if copper hoppers had a simple built-in item filtering feature. Even a basic filter, such as allowing one selected item type to pass through, would add new redstone possibilities while giving copper another meaningful technical use.
I think this would make copper much more useful beyond decoration and fit naturally with Minecraft's existing mechanics. Thanks from Brazil.
