The transition to Vulkan is understandable for the future development of the game, but dropping support for legacy GPUs risks alienating a massive part of the community—especially in developing countries where upgrading a PC is extremely expensive.
Minecraft has always been famous for running on almost any machine ("potato PCs"), allowing everyone to play together. If Mojang moves forward without proper legacy support, millions of loyal players who rely on older graphics cards will simply lose access to their favorite game.
Please, ensure robust compatibility layers, fallback options, or better optimization for older hardware so that no player is left behind.
