I would like Mojang to adjust the Creeper's explosion mechanics and shield priority so that minor performance drops (lag spikes) do not cause unfair delayed explosions or accidentally drop the player's defense. Currently, when the game stutters slightly, the Creeper's inflation animation and detonation get out of sync, making it look frozen before exploding instantly, which causes the player's attack click to drop the shield at the exact wrong frame and leads to unavoidable deaths caused by game performance rather than player mistakes. To fix this, Mojang should add a performance tolerance buffer that slightly extends the Creeper's warning state if a lag spike occurs, or adjust input priorities so that holding a shield maintains its protection against pending explosions even if an attack input overlaps due to lag.
