Right now, the Minecraft world feels a bit empty and doesn't tell the story of those who lived before us. I suggest adding a new system of generated structures that look exactly like houses built by players who didn't survive.
Key Features:
- Diverse Base Types: From simple dirt starter houses and cozy wooden cottages to underground bunkers and massive stone castles.
- Random Generation: Every structure should be procedurally generated from various modular rooms and designs so they never feel repetitive.
- Desolate Atmosphere: The buildings should look partially ruined, overgrown with moss, covered in cobwebs, and reclaimed by nature.
- Environmental Storytelling: Half-empty chests with basic survival resources, broken tools, abandoned farms, or old mineshafts nearby.
Why this is good for the game:
This would make exploration vastly more interesting. Players will feel like they aren't the first ones in this world. It adds excitement to exploring the remnants of the past, restoring these abandoned homes, or searching them for clues.
