The floating islands would be a type of world generation that happens about 27-50 above sea level but only over ocean biomes to prevent hostile mobs spawning like if they were above land. The bottom of the floating islands would always be anywhere from y 90 to y 113 and the top will always be anywhere from y 117 to y 122. The biome type (cold,warm and tempret) that generates on the floating islands would be determined by the ocean biome below, meaning cold ocean biomes would cause cold land biomes (like groves and tigas) warm ocean biomes would cause warm Land biomes (like jungles and deserts) and the ocean biome (the tempret one) would cause tempret land biomes (like plains and forests). Structures would generate on floating islands but only some of them like jungle/desert temples, dessert wells and ruined nether portals. Structures like Villages wouldn't generate unless a new village is made for the floating islands.
