I have an idea for Minecraft: a built-in 3D avatar creator in the launcher.
Players could create their own characters instead of only using normal flat skins. The creator could allow players to add custom 3D parts like tails, ears, horns, backpacks, and other accessories.
Possible features:
- A pixel-based 3D editor where players can build accessories using Minecraft-style blocks.
- Support for importing safe custom 3D models made in programs like Blender.
- A way to create and upload custom capes.
- A preview system in the launcher to see your character in 3D before using it.
- Size limits to keep it balanced, for example limiting avatars to around 4 blocks tall and 7 blocks wide.
- Limits on model complexity so it does not hurt performance.
This would make Minecraft characters feel more unique and creative while still keeping the game’s style.
