Kingdoms Update
Minecraft's villages are one of the game's most iconic features, but they still have great potential to evolve. Kingdoms Update proposes expanding them into rare medieval kingdoms that generate only in selected biomes such as plains, spruce forests, moderate mountains, snowy regions, and ocean coastlines. Each kingdom would feature unique architecture, materials, villagers, loot, and rewards based on its biome, making every discovery feel memorable.
These kingdoms would include castles, fortresses, walls, towers, harbors, stables, and blacksmiths, creating larger and more immersive settlements. Villagers would gain new appearances, professions, and routines, while Iron Golems would keep protecting their kingdoms with biome-specific designs and unique defensive abilities.
The update would also expand armor customization through the Smithing Table and introduce a Medieval Cannon, crafted with iron, stone, and wood. It would be loaded with gunpowder and an iron cannonball before being ignited with Flint and Steel, firing a powerful projectile ideal for defending castles and settlements.
Kingdoms Update expands exploration without changing Minecraft's identity, making the Overworld feel richer, more mysterious, and more rewarding to explore.
