Hello Minecraft Team,
I would like to suggest a cool feature for the villager trading system: Two-Way Trading.
Currently, trades are mostly one-directional. For example, you can sell Iron Ingots to an Armorer or Toolsmith to get Emeralds. I propose that we should also be able to do the reverse—spend Emeralds to buy raw materials like Iron, Gold, or Coal from the specific villagers who use them.
This change would make the late-game economics much more flexible. If a player builds a large Emerald farm but doesn't have an Iron farm, they could use their Emerald wealth to legally "buy back" the iron they need for building or crafting, right from the village Blacksmith.
To keep it balanced, these raw material purchases could be locked behind higher villager levels (like Expert or Master) and have a limited daily stock.
Thank you for considering this!
