Minecraft Bedrock Edition already provides powerful tools for creators through resource packs, add-ons, and the UI system. However, one area that remains very limited is the item tooltip. Currently, creators have little to no control over how tooltips are displayed, making it difficult to create polished and immersive experiences.
I would like to request an official system that gives creators much more freedom to customise item tooltips while still preserving the existing vanilla behaviour by default.
Allow creators to choose which vanilla sections appear in the tooltip.
For example:
- Hide or show enchantments.
- Hide or show attack damage.
- Hide or show armour values.
- Hide or show durability.
- Hide or show potion effects.
- Hide or show unbreakable status.
- Hide or show item components added in future updates.
This would be similar to Java Edition's ability to hide specific tooltip sections.
Also allow java exclusive feature like option tooltip and effect tooltip
