All the pigs in my farm like to hang around the edges because they want to walk to the grass blocks beyond the fence even though I filled the centre of their enclosure with lovely mud for them to play in. If they also targeted mud blocks then they would fill the enclosure better, and it also just fits with them being pigs and all.
