Copper golems should be able to add items to barrels

I will continuously choose to use barrels every time over chests because they are more aesthetically pleasing, cheaper to make, and they don’t need a block a live them to open. My problem with this though, is that I end up not being able to use the copper golem because it only interacts with chests. I would love if it could also interact with barrels. It’s not some big, grand idea or anything, but it is a big convenience to me and many others. Thank you for reading and (hopefully) considering my post.
