New ideas for Obsidian

Hello Mojang! Obsidian is one of Minecraft's most iconic blocks, but after crafting a Nether Portal, Enchanting Table, and Beacon, it has very few uses besides blast-resistant builds. I think it deserves a small late-game update without affecting game balance. My first idea is to add decorative variants such as Obsidian Bricks, Chiseled Obsidian, Polished Obsidian, along with stairs, slabs, and walls. This would give builders many more creative options while keeping obsidian's unique properties. Another idea is Reinforced Obsidian, crafted from multiple Obsidian blocks, possibly with Crying Obsidian. It could resist stronger explosions than normal obsidian, but to keep it balanced it should take much longer to mine and not drop itself once placed. These additions wouldn't make players stronger, but they would give obsidian a meaningful late-game purpose and expand building possibilities. Thank you for reading my suggestion!

  This is an amazing idea, obsidian has too little uses and everything from the obsidian building blocks to the reinforced obsidian would be great to have added!
