Dear Mojang team we are happy with Minecraft mobile.
The Problem:
Bedrock combat is currently just spam clicking. Java has attack cooldowns but most Bedrock players do not want full cooldowns. makes PvP depend only on CPS instead of skill.
The Solution: COMBAT FATIGUE!
A combat system that keeps fast spam at the start of a fight, but slows down if you keep attacking. This rewards timing and skill while keeping Bedrock's fast feel.
How COMBAT FATIGUE Works.
Step 1: The first 4 hits have a 0.2s cooldown. This feels like current Bedrock.
Step 2: Hits 5 and 6 have a 0.4s cooldown.
Step 3: Hit 7 and beyond have a 0.8s to 1.0s cooldown.
Step 4 recovery:If you stop attacking for 2 seconds, you reset back to FRESH.
Key Rules:
1. Global Fatigue: Fatigue applies to all weapons. Switching items does not reset it.
2. Visual Indicator: Add an attack indicator bar under the crosshair. Color goes from Green to Yellow to Red depending on the step.
Additional Features To Include:
1. Sweeping Attack for swords. Deals 75% damage to other mobs in a 3-block arc.
2. Slower Item Switch Animation of 0.3 seconds to make item choices more human
3. Critical Hits and Axe Shield Disable for full combat parity
Why This Is Perfect For Bedrock:
This keeps mobile and controller players happy with fast opening hits. It also adds depth and skill for PvP, Raids, and Survival. It stops fights from being decided only by who clicks faster.
Please consider testing this in a Bedrock beta. #Combat Fatigue.
