There is a lot of content on the Marketplace that has been broken by Minecraft updates. This includes texture packs, add-ons, and sometimes even worlds. I believe that any content that is no longer functioning as intended should be eligible for a refund.
A refund system could work by allowing players to submit a request along with evidence that the content is no longer working correctly, such as screenshots or videos demonstrating the issue.
Bethesda already offers refunds for broken content on its Creator Marketplace, so this wouldn't be an unprecedented feature.
Personally, I think it's a real shame because there is so much fantastic content on the Marketplace. However, I've been burned before by purchasing something that was great at first, only for a later Minecraft update to break it. That experience has made me much more hesitant to buy Marketplace content.
