The Bedrock Edition community is eager to see the full potential of modding unlocked, especially with the introduction of next gen hardware like the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. These modern platforms have the processing power to handle much heavier modding and script driven content without causing system instability.Opening up deeper modding capabilities on Bedrock would benefit the entire ecosystem.First, because consoles utilize closed ecosystems, deeper modding natively managed within Minecraft would not introduce malware or security risks.Second, creators could publish these advanced, heavy duty modifications directly to the Minecraft Marketplace. This ensures content remains safe, curated, and highly profitable for creators.Third, high end hardware is currently held back by world generation and performance limits designed for older mobile devices. For example, many players wish to experience Amplified Terrain Generation, but current Bedrock limitations prevent it.Finally, releasing advanced behavior and resource pack files would allow the community to learn the new deep modding structure and build more complex add ons. Please consider expanding the technical boundaries of Bedrock modding so the game can truly leverage the power of modern gaming hardware.
