On July 7th, Minecraft announced that if you pre-order Minecraft Dungeons II, you receive two Hero Skins, the Twisted Chicken Pet and the Twisted Cape.
I want to talk about the Twisted Cape because I'm a bit confused.
In Minecraft Dungeons 1 there isn't any cape system, so I don't know what this reward actually is. I can think of two possibilities:
The first is that Minecraft Dungeons II will introduce a new cape system, and the Twisted Cape will only be usable there.
The second (and the one I honestly hope is true) is that it's an exclusive cape for Minecraft Java and Bedrock that you unlock by pre-ordering Dungeons II.
I couldn't find any official information that confirms either option, and the announcement doesn't explain it clearly.
Could someone from Mojang clarify where the Twisted Cape can actually be used?
Personally, I think it would be really cool if it could also be worn in Minecraft Java and Bedrock. However, I don't really like the idea of making it permanently exclusive to a pre-order. I think it would be nice if players had another way to obtain it after the game's release.
