Crows are passive flying mobs found in Forests, Plains, and Taiga. They soar high in the sky and occasionally swoop down to interact with the world. Crows can use simple blocks the same way players can: buttons, levers, wooden doors, trapdoors, pressure plates, and bells. They do this rarely, out of curiosity, never griefing builds. Crows may land on farmland and peck crops, reducing their growth stage by one without breaking them.
To attract a crow, throw something shiny like a gold nugget or amethyst shard. It will walk toward it. Feed sweet berries to tame. Once tamed, you can craft a Crow Glove (leather, string, iron nugget). Right‑click your crow to perch it on the glove. While perched, the crow scans the area and highlights any interactable objects. Right‑click a highlighted object and the crow will fly over and interact with it. Feed a sweet berry afterward to reinforce the behaviour. After enough training, the crow will automatically interact with nearby objects when you’re around. Give it a berry every 8–10 interactions to keep it trained.
Crow variants spawn naturally: Ghost Crow (pure white, red eyes, taiga), River Crow (blue tint, rivers and swamps), and Dawn Crow (reddish tint at sunrise). Variants are visual only.
Thanks for reading, vote if you want a mob in the sky (that's useful)!
