First of all stop trying to squeeze more money of the player base for no apparent reason, mods in Minecraft SHOULD NOT BE PAID. There is genuinely no excuse for making it paid other than corporate greed and trying to make people spend more money on the game past the $20 price tag. Its scummy, makes people hate bedrock even more than before, and ultimately pushes more people towards java. The only reason pc players play Bedrock in the first place is to play with friends, but because it dosent get the attention it needs its extremely hard to enjoy Bedrock, the horrible spawn rates, making things harder for no apparent reason other than to make it hard (never a good idea), the insane amount of bugs and exploits, and the stupid server differences, there is genuinely no reason Bedrock should exist aswell as Java as it is superior in almost every way. If you merge the 2 games makes them BOTH run on C++ and making it a literal carbon copy of the Java version, it would be perfect, be able to run on console, not push people away with stupid paid mods, and let java players have a similar joining system to the one seen on Bedrock now (one of the very few good changes in Bedrock currently), the game would be practically perfect.
