Bedrock Shield Bind

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE SHIELD ON BEDROCK. For some reason you have to crouch to use it, i understand this for people playing on things like ipad or phone, but for someone like me on PC, i should be able to bind the key so i can use right click for example to shield rather than sacrifice movement speed just to use it.
