So mainly this is a idea to make copper better for early game redstoners and have some uses in creative mode. First, the copper scrap or sheet (I'm going to call it a sheet) that's crafted with 6 copper on the bottom 2 rows of the crafting grid to get maybe 4 sheets. So now the idea is for a redstone component that has iron in the recipe could use the sheet to get a copper variant of it. Then for the copper hopper it would probably be best for it to be the hopper but it takes 16 ticks to move a item and adds like 4 ticks per level of oxidation. Then maybe a copper piston that can only push 6 blocks or is slower at pushing. But what I'm mostly here to purpose is a copper rail. Crafted the same as the powdered rail but copper sheets instead of gold. It works like a powered rail but instead of 17 blocks of perpoltion it give 31 (middle block gets powered then they are powered for 15 blocks after and don't bend) and each block could add 1b/s and they could be powered from any side but can out put a single from the front and back of it. And when your powering a single rail maybe the power out put could be a signal strength of 15 then 2 rails gives 14 and 3 rails gives 13 and continuing until 16 rails gives 0. So this update would give early game and late game redstoners a cheaper slower alternative to iron, builders more blocks, easier ways to get exact timing in redstone, faster minecarts, and a redstone component with new properties.
