CARPETS LIKE CUSHIONS

Mojang should totally make carpets act and behave just like cushions and can be placed on any blocks such as beds slabs in front of doors and underneath the fence gates. This could also be done with item frames as well, and this would make carpets a lot better and a lot more useful in detail detailing and building

  also, if people are worried about the lag, you could make a block state named carpetlog-able.. or smth similar

  Interesting, it just would likely be far to difficult, and likely only viable on Bedrock edition (which has a layers system that already allows multiple blocks to be in the same space, not requiring an enormous number of separate block states (as you would have to account for colors as well as height))
