New Crop for the Dappled Forest

With the new Dappled Forest being inspired by the colors and feeling of autumn, I think it would be great to introduce a new crop.

Corn could add both gameplay and creative building possibilities. It could be grown like other crops and used to craft new foods such as Corn Soup or Popcorn, even anything else! 

Popcorn would be especially fun because players could use it while building movie theaters, stages, fairgrounds, or other social builds. With so many new decorative and atmospheric blocks added lately, a food like popcorn would fit that direction perfectly.

Corn could also have interactions with mobs. It could be used to feed chickens or if there happens to be a Dappled Forest mob added! 

One reason I think this would be valuable is that minecraft has relatively few food options compared to the huge variety of blocks, biomes, and items now in the game. Since survival is a core part of minecraft, food often feels like something players use out of necessity rather than something they can have fun experimenting with. Adding a crop like corn would make farming feel more varied and give players new reasons to cook, roleplay, and decorate. Food in minecraft often feels like a utility rather than a feature players can be creative with. Most players eventually settle on one efficient food source and ignore the rest.

I believe many players would enjoy having more food choices, especially ones that fit naturally with the seasonal theme of the Dappled Forest.
